I love Mother's Day! (I love Father's Day too, but more on that next month...) Here are the beautiful flowers that Dylan gave me for Mother's Day. He was really excited about them and wanted to spill the beans yesterday, but he's getting pretty good at keeping secrets. I guess he had wanted to make me breakfast in bed, but I didn't get the memo and ate breakfast too quickly. Oops! I will remember to stay in bed longer next year! Ken got me a bottle of my favorite perfume, the talks at church were surprisingly pretty good, there were treats, a friend from out of town stopped by, and we finished the evening with Mother's Day dessert at Ken's aunt's house. All in all a good day.
Dylan's preschool has a Mother's Day Tea every year. This year the kids made hats and had a fashion show. Then they sang a few songs and came sit with the moms for tea. It was very sweet.
This picture is actually from our visit to Oregon, but I thought it would be fun to have pictures with my kids in honor of Mother's Day. Happy Mother's Day! (Especially to my mom!)

Happy Mother's Day!
I didn't get breakfast in bed either, thanks to church starting at 9 a.m. Oh well! There's always next year.
You are blessed to have such darling, bright children. I hope they gave you extra slobbery kisses!
You are such a fun mommy! I can't get over how much your kids look alike!
