While visiting Utah we stopped by the petting farm at Thanksgiving Point. Actually they were very quick to point out that they are not a petting farm, but a real working farm. So there you have it.

Caitlin ran right in and started climbing the fences to get as close to the animals as possible. She was not at all put off by having the animals eat right out of her hand. She was very careful to hold her hand out flat so that her fingers didn't get nibbled, but her hands are so tiny that she can only hold about 2 corn kernels in her tiny palm.
Riding the horses was a huge hit. They had two rides a piece and Dylan named the horses. Here he's riding Chocolate Chip and Katie is riding Brownie. We loved the little tiny goats the best! The kids and I are all in favor of replacing our dog with a dwarf goat when the time comes. (ps I didn't get a picture with the goat so you'll just have to imagine two little kids feeding a tiny goat.)
